Drone development

We will be utilizing Autodesk Inventor Professional 2024 software to initiate the drafting of a drone project with simplified geometry. The initial step involves creating a 3D model of the main body of the drone using a rectangular extruded geometry. The body incorporates bores and threaded holes, facilitating the insertion and securement of the drone’s arms.

Moving on to the second phase, we initiate the design of the four elements intended to serve as supports for the engines. As the ‘arm’ exhibits symmetrical geometry, it suffices to draft only the first half, subsequently recreating the mirror image by selecting the appropriate symmetry axis. The two-dimensional shape is then extruded, and the resulting solid is perforated to ensure compatibility and alignment with the main body and engines.

Si procede quindi con la realizzazione dell’assieme dei componenti precedentemente sviluppati. Gli elementi vengono importati, duplicati, movimentati e vincolati fra di loro in modo da configurare la struttura finale.
